CHILDREN’S
Yoga Teacher Training
Feb 3 – 5, 2024
Welcome to our Children’s Yoga Teacher Training Course. In this training, we will explore how to teach yoga movement to children using anatomy, science, art, singing, life lessons and games, creating a practice that is both fun and educational. In addition, we incorporate the spiritual side into teaching yoga to children of all ages. Yoga teaches children to love, honor and respect themselves and others and to develop an invaluable source of strength as they learn to draw on their own inner center for calm and stability. Most importantly, children have fun while gaining incredible benefits to their overall health and well-being.
Yoga helps children to build self-esteem and confidence, develop concentration, attention and focus, increase self-awareness and self-discipline and enhance self-expression through creativity and imagination. Children’s classes bring together elements of hatha yoga poses, breathing awareness and meditation in creative and interactive ways that are appropriate and fun for children of all ages. This training is designed for yoga teachers, teacher trainees, child professionals and anyone interested in developing a greater knowledge of the dynamics of teaching yoga to children.
Yoga is for everyone, at any age. Hatha yoga is wonderful preventive medicine and with the increase of circulation and oxygen intake comes an increase of health. With improved health comes improved energy and greater enthusiasm and positivity in all aspects of ones life.
